Who Are GIBRALTAR WAVE FC?
Gibraltar Wave FC is the only independent women’s football team in Gibraltar.

Founded in 2021 by former Watford FC reserve player John Gontier, the club is built on a powerful vision, to develop women’s football, grow participation and one day compete on the European stage.

The mission of the club is simple:
To help girls Learn & Love football to Develop as People & Players.

With a philosophy that football is Fun and for Everyone, Gibraltar Wave FC welcomes players of all ages and abilities – with no trials, no limits, just opportunity.

Led by experienced UEFA-licensed coach and Managing Director Heiko Mock, and supported by women’s football specialist Ixora Balootje, the club blends community spirit, player development and competitive ambition.

We are thrilled to support a club that stands for positivity, inclusion and the growth of women’s sport.
