At Gibraltar Wave FC, football doesn’t stop when the grass ends. It transforms—into a sun-soaked, adrenaline-fueled version of the game we love: Beach Soccer.
In 2022, we proudly made our international debut in the prestigious Beach Soccer Worldwide event in Nazaré, Portugal. Under the blazing sun and on the golden sands, Gibraltar Wave faced off against top European sides—making waves (literally) as one of the few women’s-only clubs to compete at this elite level.
But that was just the beginning.
2025 and Beyond: Raising the Sandbar
With our roots firmly planted and our sights set high, Wave is doubling down on Beach Soccer. We’re expanding our beach soccer section, building a competitive program that combines agility, flair, and the unstoppable spirit of Wave.
Our mission?
To become a powerhouse of women’s beach soccer, representing Gibraltar with pride on the world stage—and creating a platform where athletes can thrive, from local beaches to international tournaments.
